Heat Pumps

Heat Pump Installation & Service

A modern heat pump both heats and cools using a single system, and today's cold-climate models keep working well below freezing, which is why they have become a genuinely good fit for New Jersey. Because they move heat rather than generate it, operating efficiency is dramatically higher than resistance electric heat.

For the coldest stretches, a dual-fuel system pairs a heat pump with a gas furnace and automatically switches to whichever is cheaper to run at the current outdoor temperature. We install, service and repair all of it.

  • Cold-climate heat pump installation
  • Dual-fuel (hybrid) systems
  • Heat pump repair & maintenance
  • Federal & utility rebate guidance
  • Ducted and ductless options
  • Backup heat configuration

Ductless Mini Splits

Ductless Mini Split Systems

No ducts, no problem. A ductless mini split runs a small refrigerant line from an outdoor unit to one or more indoor heads, giving you independent temperature control in each room. It is the cleanest solution for finished attics and basements, additions, sunrooms, garages, converted porches and older homes that never had ductwork.

They are also remarkably quiet and efficient, and customers consistently tell us the room-by-room control is the part they did not expect to love. As one put it: “Love my mini-splits, really makes a big difference in my house.”

  • Single-zone and multi-zone systems
  • Additions, basements & sunrooms
  • Homes with no ductwork
  • Heating and cooling in one unit
  • Quiet, high-efficiency operation
  • Mini split repair & maintenance

Duct Cleaning

Air Duct Cleaning

Your ductwork is the circulatory system of your home. Over years it collects construction dust, pet dander, pollen and debris, and every time the blower kicks on, some of that goes back into the air you breathe. Dirty ducts also restrict airflow, making the whole system work harder.

We will inspect the system, show you what is actually in there, and clean it properly. It is especially worth doing after renovations, after a rodent or moisture problem, or when you move into a home with unknown history.

Indoor Air Quality

Indoor Air Quality Solutions

Temperature is only half of comfort. Air quality testing tells us what you are actually dealing with, whether that is particulates, humidity, ventilation or biological growth. From there we can recommend real fixes instead of guesses.

HVAC air cleaners can capture germs, spores and virus-sized particles while regulating humidity, and better ventilation keeps stale air moving out. If someone in your house has allergies or asthma, this is usually the highest-impact upgrade available.

  • Air quality testing
  • High-efficiency media filtration
  • UV and air purification systems
  • Whole-home humidifiers & dehumidifiers
  • Ventilation improvements
  • Duct sealing & cleaning

Humidifiers

Whole-Home Humidifiers

Winter air in New Jersey gets brutally dry. That shows up as static shocks, cracked trim and furniture, dry skin and sinuses, and a house that feels colder than the thermostat says it is, because dry air pulls heat off your skin faster.

A whole-home humidifier installed on your ductwork fixes it for the entire house at once, and maintenance is simple: an annual pad change, drain-line clearing and control check, all included in our maintenance agreement.

Oil to Gas Conversion

Oil to Gas Conversion

If you still heat with oil and natural gas is available on your street, converting is usually one of the best returns available on a home mechanical upgrade: lower and more stable fuel costs, no more delivery scheduling, no tank to worry about, and a basement you get back.

We handle the full conversion: new gas furnace or boiler, venting, gas piping coordination, and removal of the old equipment. We will also walk you through the payback math honestly before you commit.

New Construction

New Construction HVAC

Builders and homeowners bring us in at the design stage because HVAC decided late is HVAC decided badly. We handle load calculations, duct design and layout, equipment selection, rough-in coordination with your other trades, and final commissioning.

Getting the ductwork right during framing costs almost nothing. Fixing it after drywall costs a fortune.

  • Load calculations & system design
  • Duct design and layout
  • Rough-in and trade coordination
  • Equipment selection for the build spec
  • Final commissioning & balancing
  • Builder & GC partnerships
