No Heat? Start Here
New Jersey Winters Do Not Wait
When the heat goes out in January, you need someone who picks up the phone and shows up. Mighty Ducts Heating & Cooling LLC has been the crew western New Jersey calls since 2015, and because we are locally owned, the person who quotes your job is the person standing behind it.
We service all makes and models of furnaces, boilers and heat pumps, and we primarily install Lennox equipment for its efficiency and longevity. Every visit starts with an honest diagnosis and a price you approve before we pick up a tool.
Heating Repair
Fast, Accurate Heating Repair
Strange noises, uneven heat, short cycling, a system that runs constantly but never gets there. Every one of those has a cause, and guessing at parts gets expensive. Our technicians diagnose the actual failure, explain it in plain language, and quote the repair before starting.
Trucks are stocked with the parts that fail most often, so a large share of repairs get finished on the first visit.
- No heat / system will not start
- Furnace blowing cold air
- Banging, screeching or rattling
- Short cycling on and off
- Pilot light or ignitor failure
- Thermostat not responding
- Rising gas or electric bills
- Uneven heat room to room
Heating Installation
Installations Sized Right the First Time
An oversized furnace costs more, wears out faster and heats unevenly. Before we quote a system we look at your home: square footage, insulation, windows, ductwork and how you actually live in the space. Then we size the equipment to match.
Free in-home estimates on every installation and replacement, with financing available on approved credit. We handle the removal and disposal of the old system, the new install, and the cleanup.
- High-efficiency gas furnaces
- Gas & oil-fired boilers
- Heat pumps and dual-fuel systems
- Ductless mini split heat pumps
- ENERGY STAR® certified equipment
- Programmable & smart thermostats
- Full ductwork evaluation
- Old equipment removed & hauled away

Heating Maintenance
An Annual Tune-Up Pays for Itself
Most no-heat emergencies are preventable. Every fall a Mighty Ducts mechanic goes through your heating system top to bottom: safety controls, gas pressure, ignition, blower amp draw, filter, drain lines, electrical connections and a full performance check. Then we hand you a written report of what we found.
Regular maintenance lowers utility bills, extends equipment life, and keeps your manufacturer warranty valid. Our maintenance agreement bundles the fall heating visit with the spring cooling visit.
Furnace Services
Furnace Repair, Replacement & Tune-Ups
Gas furnaces are the workhorse of New Jersey home heating, and they give plenty of warning before they quit: yellow burner flame instead of blue, a blower that never shuts off, rust or soot near the cabinet, a spike in your gas bill. We handle everything from a $200 ignitor swap to a full high-efficiency replacement.
Typical furnace life is 15–20 years with maintenance. If yours is in that range and needs a significant repair, we will show you the math both ways before you decide.
Boiler Services
Boiler Repair, Installation & Maintenance
Hydronic heat is quiet, even and comfortable when the boiler is right. We repair and install gas and oil-fired boilers for radiator and baseboard systems, and service the whole loop: circulators, zone valves, expansion tanks, aquastats and low-water cutoffs.
Annual boiler maintenance includes a combustion check, safety-control testing, flushing where needed, and a full inspection of the piping and venting.
- Boiler repair & troubleshooting
- New boiler installation
- Annual boiler maintenance
- Circulator & zone valve replacement
- Radiator and baseboard systems
- Oil-to-gas boiler conversions

Heating Questions We Hear a Lot
The rough rule: if the repair costs more than a third of a new system and the unit is past 15 years old, replacement usually wins on total cost. But age alone is not the answer. A well-maintained 18-year-old furnace can be worth fixing. We give you both numbers and our honest recommendation, then you decide.
Common causes are a thermostat set to on instead of auto, a clogged filter tripping the high-limit switch, a failed ignitor or flame sensor, or a pilot/gas supply issue. Change the filter first. If that does not fix it, call us before the system short-cycles itself into a bigger repair.
A dirty filter restricts airflow, so warm air backs up in the system. The heat makes the furnace panels and sheet-metal ducts expand and bow outward; when the cycle ends they cool and snap back. That is the “bang.” Replace the filter and have the ducts checked for undersized returns.
Yes. We repair, maintain and install gas and oil-fired boilers, including radiator and baseboard hydronic systems, circulators, zone valves and expansion tanks.
Once a year, in the fall, before you need it. Annual maintenance keeps efficiency up, catches small failures before they become no-heat calls on the coldest night, and is required to keep most manufacturer warranties valid.
