Not Sure What Size?
The size is printed on the edge of your current filter (for example 16x25x1). If it has worn off, call us with your furnace or air handler model and we will look it up.
Which MERV Rating?
For most homes a MERV 8 to 11 filter cleans the air well without choking airflow. Go higher only if your system was designed for it. When in doubt, ask us before you order.
How Often to Change It
1-inch filters every 1 to 3 months, 4 and 5-inch media filters once or twice a year. Pets, allergies and renovation dust all mean sooner. A subscription takes the remembering out of it.
